I’ve been in a book slump lately or have been for a few years now. I’m hoping to get back into it. I think I may start with the book that absolutely broke me but in the most epic way possible. It’s called Bright Side by Kim Holden. I’m not sure why this book had such a hold on me. It was great but I’m sure there’s better.

Anywho, I tend to watch shows and read books that pull my heart strings. So tell me what books ruined you. I need some recommendations and I want to *feel*.

    1. All the light we cannot see by Anthony Doerr hit me pretty hard, even though I wouldn’t call it a masterpiece. I just loved it.

No Great Mischief by Alistair MacLeod. So hauntingly, heartbreakingly beautiful.

Same with Lampedusa by Stephen Price.
