We’ve seen plenty of stories with a new vampire enjoying their new powers but recently read a webcomic where a girl was turned and later helped cope with her vampirism but couldn’t be cured(yet at least) and wonder about someone dealing with just surviving with it and thinking it sucks 😋
– Curing the vampirism/keeping it a secret/revenge on source does NOT need to be a major plot point.
– Bonus points for female protagonist

Fred the Vampire Accountant! These are totally wholesome books, and I love them. Fred is a mild-mannered accountant who is turned into a vampire and abandoned by his creator, so he goes back to the only life he knows- Mild mannered Accountancy. He has to quit his job at a firm and go into business for himself, since he can’t work daytime hours, but this turns out to be a great move for him.
I adore Fred. The audiobooks are good, with a slight preference for the full-cast versions.
Second Sunrise by David Thurlo.
Peeps by Scott Westerfeld.
I’ll admit, I haven’t read it, but I think The Immortal Rules may fall under this category.
Sounds similar to the Reformed Vampire support group by Catherine Jinks. It is about Nina who was turned/fanged at 15 back in the 70s & still lives w/her mom bc teen. The vampires are kinda pathetic & lead for the most part boring lives till a member of the support group is stacked
