Ideally looking for something with an occult/supernatural element to scratch that Cultist Simulator/Book of Hours itch. Not opposed to YA but I haven’t read YA in quite a while. I liked Secret History but was disappointed that it was more about this friend/frenemies group >!covering up a murder!< rather than dark academia. Ninth House was alright; I loved the vibe but didn’t really like Alex as a character and felt like she was a bit of a Mary Sue. Open to any and all suggestions!
