    1. Depends on what genre you enjoy. If there’s a book that you enjoyed previously or a movie based on a book like Harry Potter or the Silence of the Lambs

      Starr with that book. You will be familiar enough with the plot and characters if you get distracted you will easily know what is happening.

    2. World War Z. Multiple narrators to keep you from zoning out and refresh your focus at each chapter, tells a surprisingly coherent story. Need to get accustomed to listening, but once you do, it’s awesome.

      It’s late, that’s the short pitch.

    3. Audiobooks with a full cast are always a treat!

      *Daisy Jones and the Six* by Taylor Jenkins Reid – super fun 70s story in the format of behind-the-scenes interviews about a fictional rock band

      *The Guest List* by Lucy Foley – murder mystery set on a remote island (feels very Ruth Ware, if you like her books)

      *Dune* by Frank Herbert – classic sci-fi novel that I’ve listened to multiple times (a little long)

      I’m pretty sure the audiobook for *The Handmaid’s Tale* also has a full cast, but I read that one paperback, so I can’t speak to the quality of the narration.

    4. Wonderful thank you! I really enjoyed reading the handmaiden tale and the guest list. Will add the other two to my list. I’ve actually always wanted to read Dune but I’ve never got around to it.

      All the books you mentioned seem right up my alley! Any other books you recommend either audiobook or normal? Thank you!!

    5. Others are giving you book recommendations, so I will give you audiobook narrator recommendations so you could search if any of these have narrated anything in the genre you like

      * Ray Porter
      * Lucy Patterson
      * Michael Kramer
      * John Lee
      * Finlay Robertson
      * Mel Hudson
