I want to get back into reading after quite some time and have gotten a list with books to read. I have a lot of em and I have trouble on which one to start with. These are the books
Shogun
House of leaves
The count of monte cristo
East of eden
Kokoro
The hobbit/lotr
The hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy
Dune
If you have read most of them it would be nice to see your ranking of the books on how much you liked/enjoyed them.

Since it’s been a while since you read, my vote is the hitchhiker’s guide to the Galaxy. It’s a fun, somewhat easier read than some of the other books on your list. Might help build momentum.
I’ve read all these books I would put them in this read order – gives you some light fun then into epic then some adventures and winding up with more epic – gives you variety and keep the epics separate
