Hi folks! My TBR list is full of serious, emotionally heavy books at the moment, and I need some lighter, happier novels to sprinkle in. I would greatly appreciate some suggestions!
A few books I’ve recently enjoyed that are kind of along the lines of what I’m looking for are *Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice for Murderers* by Jesse Sutanto, *Project Hail Mary* by Andy Weir, and *Small Miracles* by Olivia Atwater. Ideally I’d love suggestions that fit the following:
– Protagonist(s) over the age of 30 (or maybe slightly younger—just not interested in coming of age narratives at the moment); no upper limit
– Any fiction genre, just nothing too dark
– Not looking for books where the primary/most important theme is parenthood/children
– Ideally leaning more toward fun and interesting premises/conflicts rather than slice-of-life
Any suggestions? 🙂
