Shorter= the story is done in one book and does not have a volume 2 or 3+
I used to read a lot as a child and teenager (I even own a very old kindle) and then after a Fanfiction phase I just stopped reading long texts. The only thing I read now are Webtoon/Manhwas/Mangas/Manhuas.
Anyway I went to a book fair recently with my book loving friends and I got inspired to read again. (I already started Howls Moving Castle).
I asked my friends for recommendations, but all they read currently are books that have multiple volumes and I just dont trust my attention yet to start such a long story.
I prefer oneshots anyway so I think a long story will just disencourage me again.
So Im looking for a story thats finished in one book.
I like fantasy, crime, detective stuff, romance, mystery, supernatural or extraordinary stuff, but I would be happy with any recommendation.
