I’m looking for book recommendations for non-fiction books about women. Mainly looking for the history/science of women or more feminist literature. Examples include Witches, Midwives, and Nurses: A History of Women Healers, and Invisible Women: Data Bias in a World Designed for Men.

Women: the first 20,000 years
It’s a little old but fascinating: Bitch: In Praise of Difficult Women by Elizabeth Wurtzel.
If I recall correctly, each chapter deals with a woman who has been somewhat villianized or victimized and gives you insight into them.
One thing that really stuck with me was that she pointed out that that women in one family had money saved for them for when they turned 18, not for college but for breast implants.
The whole thing made me better understand where a lot of women are coming from.
