I recently read Out of The Blue by Jason June and while I didn’t love the book I found the premise of a non-binary mermaid from a genderless mermaid society coming to our world and struggling with all of our gender roles and norms being thrust upon them. I was wondering if anyone knew of any books including this trope or plot point? As a trans person I really enjoyed it.
