A few years ago I traveled to Maui with my husband and absolutely loved the Crazy Rich Asian series. It was perfect for the long flight, layover, and long relaxing days on the beach. I loved the escape it provided to learn about the lives of totally vapid and dramatic people, but also tied in a love story. I have to admit it was like a reading version of watching Bravo (guilty pleasure.) We’re taking a similar trip in a couple of weeks and I would like to start something I can dive into. I normally enjoy murder mysteries and psychological thrillers, but just finished Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris and it was quite dark. I don’t mind some dark, but I would appreciate some humor and levity thrown in. I appreciate any suggestions!!
