Looking for a nonfiction book about human sacrifice rituals and/or resurrection rituals
Looking to learn more about bizarre human rituals. Whether it be occultic or cultural, ancient or modern. Anything goes! I’m really struggling to find stuff on the subject that looks promising
You could try looking in the Anthropology section of a bookstore. I took several such classes when I was working on my degree.

You might find it in *From Here to Eternity* by Caitlin Doughty. It doesn’t cover sacrifice or resurrection per se, but looks at the different ways different cultures treat a body after death and the associated mourning rituals. Many of these will (presumably) qualify as ‘bizarre human rituals’. And if not? It’s a genuinely fascinating book.
