Hello all! As the title says, I’m really struggling at the moment. It has been a long time since I read something that truly gripped me and made me want to read as often as I could. The last 2 books that I enjoyed are:
“Where the Crawdads Sing” &
“The 100 years of Lenni & Margot”
I love books that make you truly love the characters, that stir the emotions and hit you in an unexpected way. I’m not afraid of a chunky book (hello Hanya Yanagihara fans!) and I enjoy unusual stories. I’m purposefully avoiding crime thrillers and murder mysteries at present as they’re just everywhere.
I’m not a big fan of sci fi but otherwise open to most things.
Please help! What books have moved you? Made a lasting impression? What books have you mourned the loss of the characters once you finished reading?
A big ask sorry, but please help me rediscover my reading spark!
Thank you all!
