Suggest me a nonfiction book. The topics I’m interested in:
    – space
    – major scientific advancements
    – ancient Europe
    – ancient Rome and/or Greece
    – I’d like to learn more about recent or ancient Asia
    – your favorite nonfiction science or history

I’m not interested in celebrity anything, and I’ve tried a few biographies without luck.

    Thanks!

I just finished Black AF History: The Un-Whitewashed Story of America and enjoyed it a lot.

SPQR by Mary Beard about Roman history.

The Demon Under the Microscope by Thomas Hager about the development of sulfa drugs (antibiotics).

The Indifferent Stars Above by Daniel James Brown

This book covers the Donner Party saga in great detail. It was an interesting peek into 1800s US frontier and of course the tragedy that occurred.
I have no idea why it stuck with me so much, but it’s a 5/5 for me.
