Most of the novels revolve around a problem, and rightly so. But in doing so, writers fail to write even a chapter on the good lives they lead. Think of the beginning or ending of a rom-com, but written in a much more sober way. You get me?
Why I want this? Ever since covid, I feel I am living just one day at a time, without being able to imagine or work towards building a good life.
While writing this post, Harry Potter series came to my mind. Of how it revolves around themes of love and friendship, and struggling to build a good life filled with family and friends. JKR, you still rock.
But right now, I want something more contemporary around building/leading a good life. Do you know any such novels?
