Crime thrillers, the gorier and stranger the killer’s M.O. the better.

My favourite thriller authors so far are Thomas Harris, Richard Montanari, Jeffrey Deaver and Val McDermid to give some idea of the sort of stories I enjoy.

I’m also looking for stalker stories along the lines of Misery, where a victim is being held captive, struggling to appease their captor and keep themselves alive until they are rescued. I don’t mind if a large part of the story is just the stalking itself, though, and any good stalker stories are welcome.
