Can you please recommend some books of how humans (almost) decimated species?
I’ve read about north american bison’s almost extinction and about king Leopolod’s bussiness in the Congo with the ivory trade.
I just heard about japanese whaling after watching years ago that episode of southpark.
I just watched a video of some kayakers meeting a whale and that sent me through the rabbit hole.
I know close to nothing about north american fur trade and the european conglomerates that made that happen.
I’m open to all suggestions relating to how we, humans, fucked up animal species in the past (mostly before 1900) for our interest.
NON FICTION please.
