I can’t remember the name of this book to save my life and will actually Cashapp something to the person that can help me figure it out 😩 LMAO it’s about a guy who’s essentially been groomed by I believe his grandmother…? 🤔 To basically be the antichrist, but because of just how powerful he IS (and with the calming influence of his GF), he’s actually got the option to either be the downfall of man OR mankind’s savior. I believe he started somewhere else and traveled there during the story, but ultimately the majority of the plot takes place in New Orleans, and I can distinctly remember a particular part where he took a shower and a snake came out of his throat (and it had HEAVY sexual undertones LoL), and when his GF asked if he was okay he begged her not to come in… Once he got his shit together, he stepped out of the bathroom and dicked her down within an inch of her life LMAO. I think he also found his biological father there and the guy was a kind of shady character who was into the jazz scene of the area 🤔 Really all the details I can recall (on my own) ATM. The paperback is mainly black and blue with white writing I think, and I believe either creepy, spindly tree branches or a lightning strike streaking across its cover. Oh, don’t know if it can help someone in the search for it, but I purchased it used from the now shuttered Hastings Book Store around 2016-ish. I would forever be grateful if anyone can point me in the right direction and THANK YOU in advance! ❤️❤️❤️
