I’m looking for a long journey against a “big bad” in a high fantasy setting. An ensemble crew that grows as the story progresses and dives into each member’s individual story. I would love it for a romance or two to develop as well. I’m also looking for the party of protagonists to visit a lot of places across the fantasy setting as they get closer (and farther) from their goals. A multi book series is preferred!
Anyone have ideas for my niche?

Have you ever read The Dragonlance Chronicles?
The Dark Tower series.
*The Stormlight Archives (*first book, *The Way of Kings*)*,* by Brandon Sanderson, if you don’t mind diving into a series that probably won’t be finished until 2040 (though there should be a natural break point with a place to stop in the fifth book, which should be out late next year).
*The Mistborn Trilogy* (first book *The Final Empire),* by Brandon Sanderson, if you want a much shorter trilogy that’s already completed.
You would absolutely love *One Piece,* if you are interested in comics at all.
I feel like you’ve described *The Wheel of Time* series so perfectly that I’m assuming you’ve read it an are kind of basing your prompt on finding other series like it. But if not, you could probably start there.
