Suggestions after reading Blake Crouch

I’m a huge media Sci-fi person, but never got around to reading much of Sci-fi.

I read Mary Shelley, Jules Vernes, G.H. Wells, fantastic books but quite hard reads given the time they were written.

Then I ran into Blake, read Dark Matter and Recursion, and I’m obsessed.

I’m trying to formulate a list, and I thought asking people here for similar ideas, tone, and intensity from other authors would probably be very helpful.
