(24M) Hi,
I’ve been reading fiction on and off for a few years. I get really overwhelmed with how many books there are in the genres I like and am afraid to buy something that’s not worth reading. I’m looking for any good science-fiction or fantasy recs.
Below is my taste:
Lately I’ve been reading Eragon since I never really touched it as a kid. I’m really loving it but I can sense the cliche’ in it. I don’t mind too much cliche though and I’m coming to the end of the series soon.
I was a big RPG player, and I really love anything with a good bit of world building and character development. I definitely need good action, some exploration/adventuring is essential, and honestly I’m a bit of a sap for a good long romance mixed in.
I’m on the fence about more YA lit stuff because I do like it to be a bit mature and intense. I’m still pretty open to trying things as long as it’s a decent read.
Generally, I’m really hoping for another roguish adventure with a complex world. I really want to feel like I’m exploring the depths of a world and the characters in it.
