Hey everyone, I have never been a sci fi reader until last year. I got into the Expanse novels (by James SA Corey) cuz of my husband and watched Silo season 1 on Apple TV (books by Hugh Howey). I now realize that I am a huge sci fi fan and try to read one series alongside my fantasy novels.
Looking for something interplanetary, ideally. But I also love post apocalyptic worlds and people using technology to overcome it. A fast paced series where the characters are well developed is essential. Social factions competing and an oppressive regime in charge are huge bonuses. Any ideas?

Silo is actullt based on a book series so maybe try that. I believe the first one is called Wool.
Id also suggest Hyperion by Dan Simmons, and the We Are Legion series
My two recommendations are the Red Rising series by Pierce Brown and Suneater by Christopher Ruocchio! Both have the final book coming out within a year I believe
Edit: Red Rising specifically has an oppressive regime and an underdog from a lower faction of society trying to overthrow the system
