      Not a collection but,
Home they brought her warrior dead-Tennyson.
      A poison tree-William Blake I think.

(I was going to suggest Autobiography of Red, but was pleasantly surprised to see all the love for it)

      •The Essential Rumi by Rumi

•Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair by Pablo Neruda

•Song of Myself and/or Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman

•Any T.S. Eliot collection that contains ‘The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock’

•The Road Not Taken and Other Poems by Robert Frost

      *Edit*
I just noticed you wanted more recent works. Sorry that mine are quite ancient. Still worth the read, though!
