I have read Lonesome Dove and A Gentleman In Moscow. I started to read Poisonwood Bible, but I just can’t get into it.
I want a hard to put down novel. Maybe an adventure? space ships sci-fi? Fantasy?
I am thinking about Shogun, Pillars of Earth, or maybe John Carter series.
I really need some advice on a fun read.

*East of Eden* had the same effect on me as *Lonesome Dove,* for what it’s worth!
People on this sub always recommend *The Count of Monte Cristo*, too, as just a phenomenal book. It’s been yeeeeears since I read it, but maybe check it out!
