I need something that will scratch my existentialism itch. I really enjoyed books like the three bodied problem, project Hail Mary ( this one is less existentialism and more just mystery, but it was fun), and the Hyperion books. I really enjoy hard sci-fi too. Any recommendations would be appreciated!
Edit: The more it fills me with dread and the creepier it gets the better.

Six Wakes by Mur Lafferty. And/or Station Eternity by the same author. I’m currently reading Station Eternity – and next up is the sequel .
The Gone World by Tom Sweterlitsch
* The Invincible by Stanislaw Lem. Also, Solaris by Stanislaw Lem, but IMO the story of Solaris relies upon it being socially unacceptable for men to display emotions which I think is one thing that has changed a lot in society since the book was written so I didn’t find it as impactful as The Invincible.
* Nightflyers and Other Stories by George R. R. Martin
* Leech by Hiron Ennes
* Revelation Space by Alastair Reynolds
* Blindsight and Echopraxia by Peter Watts. Technically Echopraxia is the sequel, but you could read these in any order if you wish. Blindsight is available as a free ebook on the author’s website.
