I love mystery/thriller books. I’ve been drawn to the author Natasha Preston and Kathleen Glasgow and have read a good majority of their books these past few years…
However, they are very high-school if that makes sense. I’m a 23 year old woman, I’m not looking to read too much about high school drama and murderous teens anymore and there’s some sort of cheesy love story with the unlikely couple.
I also like the author James Patterson, of course. But I fall in and out of love with his books (most recently I’ve started reading his Women’s Murder Club series – the ones with titles based on numbers) but sometimes they can be a bit complex to read and keep up with.
Are there any authors you’d recommend checking out for mystery/thrillers that aren’t based in high school, but also not as complex as James Patterson can be? Thanks!
