Sooooo I recently finish the Arc of a Scythe trilogy and absolutely LOVE it. I haven’t read Gleanings yet, however, I do plan to. And just a heads up, I am obsessed with Rowan and Jeri. Like omggggg they are so well written and I love Jeri’s gender fluidity. You don’t see that all to often (from what I’ve read at least) And Rowan’s character development from the beginning to the end of the series is just honestly astonishing and it is honestly so sad to me. Like, he went from this sweet, empathetic boy who was willing to help anyone, and then Goddard just ruined it and now he only cares for Citra. Like, the amount of hatred I have for Goddard is immeasurable.

It honestly is just such an amazing story that is told with a coherent timeline and an understandable series of events. I have recently gotten some of Neal Shusterman’s other books, but haven’t had the chance to read them since I have been reading some of Ned Vizzini’s books. Currently on Be More Chill, by the way. Anyway, back on topic with the Arc of a Scythe trilogy.

I am a massive fan of the series and it’s what got me back into reading after years of struggling to actually pick up a book (aside from fanfiction, heh). And it is also what helped me break some of my OCD habits and be able to read though it without as many rereads and such. Anyway, I’m just rambling at this point lol. Any once wanna talk about it with me or just talk in general? Also a fair warning I am a bit tipsy 😅

    1. Loved the trilogy! I still think about that world from time to time. I think when things get hard in this world parts of me wish for the Thunderhead.

I hope that someone in the film industry will pick up on this book. It would convert quite well to visual media in my opinion.

Have you read the books after the trilogy yet? I have them on my to read list.

    2. I loved the first book, liked the second book, did not finished the third book. Like so many trilogies, it just lost energy and focus. But I loved Gleanings!
