Ofcourse i don’t expect to exactly find an solution for all my problems but maybe i will find something that helps me. I prefer practical books since most theoretical books repeat the information of each other.
I have a few self help topics about me i wish to change.
1. Passion/finding a path
First of all i would like to find a book which helps me find a path in life. Something i genuine like. For example how do i find my passion? Even better would be something as a step by step guide of how would be great but also examples of hobbies would be usefull.
2. Ruminating a/b past & worrying a/b future.
Every day, ruminating about the past or worrying about the future are things that ensure that I either cannot enjoy myself or do what is necessary or I do not have confidence, it makes me depressed and anxious. it keeps me very busy.
3. Social behaviour/outlook on life
A practical book about improving social behavior but also an outlook on life. I am bitter about old relationships and that affects possible new relationships. I can describe social behavior perfectly on paper, but I cannot apply it myself without it feeling created. Myself and others then notice the inauthenticity. I need something that allows me to be friendly, spontaneous, confident and active as myself.
4. Taking action, actually encountering adventure and living an exciting life.
in summary: due to a difficult childhood, I lived passively for a long time and this has become part of my personality. I really want to change this. Be more active and do more
