I’ve had a helluva year, losing my partner to cancer and hopping into another relationship that I’m realizing isn’t right for me and I’m not ready for. I’ve had success getting back into reading with Lisa Jewell-esque mysteries. I’m looking to break my mystery habit, but would like my next book to be similarly fast-paced, somewhat short and easy to read. Fiction would be great. I don’t need any stories of evil men doing horrific things, but would like to be inspired to care for myself and stay single until I’m really ready. Themes of grief and coping with loss are a plus. Thanks.
