I’m that weird age (41) where I’m no longer young but not quite old. I used to be mistaken for a student and could relate to their interests, but now my college kids’ mothers are my age. They haven’t even read or seen Harry Potter!

ISO a philosophical or thoughtful (no blatant self self) book on aging to help reframe the process. I loved my 30s, would never go back to anything prior to that. But this mid-life shift has been difficult to manage, mentally, emotionally, and physically.

I have Parker Palmer’s *On the Brink of Everything* on my radar, but he’s a wee bit older than I am.

I look forward to your recommendations, friends!
