Looking for books that I can listen to for a week or two straight, I just finished the unabridged collection of Sherlock Holmes which was about 60 hours. I also thoughouly enjoyed the game of thrones series, and have been slowly working my way through Stephen King’s books (my favorite so far is under the dome), I just get to anxious if I don’t take breaks between his books.
Preferably fiction or realistic fiction but open to any genre

Love this question!! Some suggestions
– **In the Woods** by Tana French — the first of the Dublin Murder Squad books (6 book series, and she’s written a few standalones). Very good modern detective fiction, French’s ear for dialog is especially notable.
– **The Terror** by Dan Simmons — historical fiction/horror about a real ship, the Terror, which disappeared in the arctic around 1850. It’s a 30 hour audiobook and I found it absolutely gripping throughout
– **Quicksilver** by Neil Stephenson — the first volume in his very long baroque trilogy (confusingly, the “trilogy” was broken up into 8 books across 3 volumes, and the first of the 8 books and the first of the 3 volumes are both called “Quicksilver”. It looks like the audiobook version is broken into the 8 books rather than 3 original published volumes — over 100 hours overall). Fantastically imaginative historical fiction from a master of sci fi.
– **David Copperfield** by Charles Dickens — if you listened to 60 hours of Sherlock Holmes, I think you might like Dickens! The man is extremely funny, and prolific to boot ( about 41 hours)
– **Murder on the Orient Express** by Agatha Christie — again, going by your Sherlock Holmes reading, I think you’d like Christie! You can really pick up any Agatha Christie book and be in for a good mystery, but Murder on the Orient Express is a classic
