Okay, so, I used to have this book I read a couple different times. It was when I was younger, so I can’t seem to remember the name and I have been thinking about this foreverrrr. Its something along the lines of “The Famiy…” or “Family” something, this much I know. About this book publisher, whose name I cant remember, and her old flame that returns to her home town after some success in his field (Max or something like that idk). Her family are kind of the worst and she seems to have this air of superiority (I think its first person). I remember other things about it but thats just the gist. Idk why I loved it so much, but I want to find it and would appreciate help if this rings any bells lol.
