Hello folks – I tried to look through this thread first but have no idea what key words to use. I’m trying to improve my (advanced) English skills (I’m not a native speaker but I’m pretty fluent). I honestly don’t know how to explain this other than that I want to sound like Abraham Lincoln the movie (or Winston Churchill), I’m fascinated by this style of language, vocabulary and articulation so I would absolutely appreciate recommendations for books that use similar style. I’m assuming books written early 1900’s ? (Which is great!). And if it’s not too much to ask, I’d really prefer non-fiction books ( romantic novels . Etc). Thank you so so much!
