I have one credit. I really want to get some mileage out of this. I’m looking for an epic with anlittle of everything. I was looking at Lonesome Dove. Then, Crime and Punishment. There is a whole Dostoyevsky collection comingnout in a few months. But I don’t want to wait. Any recommendations? Lonesome Dove seems promising. I like Western movies and video games. But Dostoyevsky seems like a kindred spirit. But I’m not sure if I want something that heavy. Basically, I want something to get lost in. With suspense, romance, adventure, sprawling narrative yet personal, epic locations, a bit of heavy stuff (human condition and inner workings) but I don’t want it to be a chore. I realize this is a very broad ask. Thanks.

The count of monte chriso is my favorite book. I read the unabridged version every few years. 1300 pages that keep me captivated all the way through. It destroys anything you’ve seen in theaters
If you’re into sci-fi audiobooks Black Ocean: Galaxy Outlaws is the best bang per credit. It’s about 90 hours (I want to say 84 but I’m not sure)
The author JS Morin wrote it after Firefly was cancelled and it has the same vibe as the TV show while being original.
