So, for the most part, I read fantasy. But I’ve recently finished Brandon Sanderson’s Cytoverse, and very much enjoyed both installments of Christopher Paolini’s Fractalverse, and find myself itching to dive into space again with something along those lines.
As of right now, there are three book pages open on my laptop that I’m intrigued by: *Salvation* by Peter F. Hamilton, *The Collapsing Empire* by John Scalzi, and *Lost Fleet* by Jack Campbell.
If anyone’s read these books and can recomment/deter these books, that’d be welcome! And if there’s another space opera you’d love to recommend, then by all means!
For a bit more context, I am a fan of Star Wars, although I haven’t thought about looking into those books yet; I’m in the mood for something new. Other favoured sci-fi universes includ *The Outer Worlds* and *Mass Effect*.
