Hi! I’m 15 and trying to get back into reading after years of not reading. I recently read Blood Meridian and enjoyed the idea of a being of pure evil who did malicious and hateful things without reason. It was interesting how Judge Holden had no morals or empathy for anything the he did or that happened. I still thought his acts were disgusting and distasteful but wanted to know if anyone knew other books like this.

You might try *Heart of Darkness* by Joseph Conrad. There are very strong connections between it and *Blood Meridian*. The acts in it are disgusting and distatsteful in a very different way.
