Whenever I am lost or need a sense of direction on how to go about life as a woman in her twenties there are some books I turn to. I call them my North Star books. They give me perspective on how to go about life as a whole and nudge me towards a direction in navigating certain areas.

The Top Five Regrets of the Dying, Midnight Library, Attached, The Art of Thinking Clearly, The Defining Decade and Psychology of Money are some of them.

Please suggest some books that have acted as your North Star in life or in a certain area/subject.I mostly read Non-fiction. But I’m more than open to any and all genres.

The entire Wayward Children series by Seanan McGuire. The book is about magical children who find a Doorway to their real world but not all kids stay where they were meant to be. The kids that came back to the real world and aren’t able to go back are able to attend a school to help them cope. It’s amazing!!

      – The Courage to Be Disliked by Ichiro Kishimi

      – Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins

And a fiction one, which I found to be extremely motivating.
