Books by Russian Authors

I want to read more books specifically written by Russian authors, translated in English.

I absolutely loved Vladimir nabokov, his books are so different from rest of authors writing in English. I love nabokov’s point of view, his way of writing, his exploration of themes etc

Only request is please suggest books that are entertaining to read. I actually don’t want to read depressing stuff for now. I have heard crime and punishment is very depressing or existential.

All I want these books is good story and bits of entertainment. Would love any genre. Fantasy, horror, thriller etc.

I already read “Vita nostra” (Russian fantasy novel) and loved it. It was way too different from fantasy books I have read.
