Hi everyone! I’m looking for books that center around romantic relationships but that are not light and happy. The more devastating the better, frankly! Some examples of books like this I’ve loved are *Swimming in the Dark* by Tomasz Jedrowski, *Thirst for Salt* by Madelaine Lucas, and *The Days of Abandonment* by Elena Ferrante. What I loved about each of these is that they were beautifully written, very character driven, and gave realistic looks into how people can break each other’s hearts.
