Any books that follow the story of a wizard like Critical Role’s Caleb Widogast? Or books that have a character/characters like those in The Mighty Nein?

I have a hard time finding books that I’ll stay interested in long-term and I’m not exactly allowed to watch it anymore but campaign 2 of critical role was a story I was heavily invested in (especially because of Caleb, Knot, Molly, and Jester). I want to do more reading and I’m hoping finding stories with characters like them would help. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
