He’s a nice kid and I have always tried to teach him about lgbtq+ community,about feminism and consent in hopes that he doesn’t grow up to be a total scum bag
My family is not really homophobic but I guess it’s not a dinning table conversation for them.
So a few months ago my distant cousins came to visit us and the topic of trans people came up
I realised they were transphobic and had lots of other issues with the lgbt community that they shared I front of my brother obviously he thought they were cooler than me and he looked up to them
I don’t blame him but he’s started talking like them so I had to go back to the basics
Everytime I try to explain that being a part of the lgbtqia community is not bad he keeps bringing up some man that identifies as a wolf
I don’t want him to become homophobic
I need book recommendations that would interest him and also bring light to these topics
