I’m looking for some book recs in the following genres:

    – Fantasy/science fiction/dystopian with a romance sub-plot
I’m currently on the last book of tog, and the fantasy has been great, but ever since the smut scenes in book five ish appeared, I’ve wanted to put it down. Now I’m just finishing it cuz I’m too invested lol
I’ve read the hunger games, the maze runner, all those classics, and they were great.
Popular books on booktok like fourth wing, although the fantasy was fine, love me some dragons, but the smut scenes were not necessary for me.
Is The Wheel of Time any good? Heard a lot of positive recs about this
I absolutely love enemies to lovers and a slow-burn, but not in the smut sense. More in the ‘omg they touched each other’s hand’ sense if that makes sense 🙂

    – thriller/horror (not as much as the one mentioned above though)
Absoultely love books with a lot of suspense that keep you on the edge of ur seat the entire time. Bonus points if there’s insane plot twists 😀

    1. I liked *The Weaver and the Witch Queen* — 10th century Norway, a girl who apprentices with a witch, her childhood best friends who are sisters, and pretty good enemies to lovers storyline.

    2. Capable-Professor301 on

      Horizon by Scott Westerfeld

      Deadzone by Jennifer Nielsen

A Warp In Time by Jude Watson

Uprooted by Naomi Novik and Spinning Silver also by Novik. Both fantasy

Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler for a dystopian novel.

Shards of Honor and Barrayar by Lois McMaster Bujold for sci-fi. (They were published as two books but they really need to be read together as one story).
