I’m a 20 year old guy college student and I’m looking to get back into reading. My interests are golf, ww2, titanic, sharks and coin collecting. I love stuff relating to action, horror and fantasy but I also love stuff about prison escapes. Open to all suggestions.
I’d recommend The Longest Winter by Alex Kershaw. It’s about the most highly decorated American unit in WW2 whose story was largely unknown for decades.
The Last Battle by Stephen Harding is an interesting WW2 history book about the battle of Castle Itter which is the only battle where American and German soldiers fought on the same side.
My favorite action series is the Jack West series by Matthew Reilly. They are fast novels that read like action movies. It’s about a group of soldiers who must solve booby traps and mysteries surrounding the seven ancient wonders of the world in order to avert the apocalypse.
