I really want to be more aware and educated on this topic. I’ll admit I lack a lot of knowledge on the history apart from what is currently happening with the genocide and I hate that this is something we were not taught in school in my country, and books are the most accessible way for me to learn about things so here I am. I often find that books share a wider understanding of topics when written through the lens of intersectionality and I prefer reading from people who aren’t men for that reason. So any book that fits the title criteria would be great.
So far from the few research I’ve done on good reads I just found two titles that could fit the bill:
– A minor detail by Adania Shibli
– They called me a lioness: a Palestine girl’s fight for freedom by Ahed Tamimi and Dena Takruri
I don’t really know if they’re a good start nor if they’re good, so if you have an opinion on these, I welcome it as well.
Can be in french or in english as I speak both languages.
Thanks!
