Hi
I’m stuck in the worst slump. Was in a book club but the books we’ve done haven’t really been my thing at all. The last one was The Eyre Affair by Jasper Ffjorde . Can’t even finish it , I think it’s just put me in a slump . I feel like I’m not invested in it at all, don’t care about the characters etc. This time they’re doing a Matt Haig book which I’ve opted out of. I hated the midnight library.
Books I’ve read that I’ve really loved have been The hearts invisible furies and Evelyn Hugo. Also loved memoirs of a geisha and the bronze horseman, snow flower and the secret fan
Please suggest some lovely books to get me out of this slump. Mostly been reading non fiction because I feel like I can’t get into anything
