I’ve just gotten into reading this year and have tried different genres. Some I’ve enjoyed and others not so much. Nothing hooked me in like The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls. While I was reading it I didn’t watch any TV, barely checked my phone, etc. I was so hooked. I would come home on my lunch breaks and read it (I have NEVER been the type to spend my lunch break reading) but this book just kept my attention so well. Maybe it was the good story in short chapters? I don’t know. But if I can find more books that hook me in like this one, I think I’ll read forever.
