Personal favorite genres/plot types are dystopia, post apocalypse, horror, fantasy, paranormal/supernatural, and mystery.

    Not super into SciFi

I do still have a bit of a lean towards YA fiction. I can take or leave romance and smut. My son is getting older and into more independent play I have more time off and am looking to get back into reading more!

    1. You might really enjoy the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews. The first book is just kind of “fine” to my mind but the rest of the series slaps. It’s set in a post-magical-apocalypse Atlanta, and the main character is a mercenary who deals with various supernatural crimes and mysteries around the city.
