I’m pretty new to reading, like my list was pretty much just Percy Jackson, and Harry Potter for a long time.
I have read the ACOTAR series around the time the last book came out, as well as the first Throne of Glass and Crescent City off a friends recommendations. However I just can’t get into them, im not a huge romance fan and find them far to romance heavy for me.
Last week I found the “Monsters of Verity” duology and speed read those in about 3 days, honestly they were so good exactly what I enjoy.
I tend to watch a lot of anime so most my favorites are in that, but I’m branching out and books are so good, I’ve always enjoyed reading just finally have the chance to
Anyways
I’m looking specifically for recommendations similar to
Monsters of Verity
Tokyo Ghoul
Blue Exorcist
Grimm
Supernaturals
Fullmetal Alchemist
Etc
So like supernatural, demon/monster/non-human type stories, specifically if the MC is said monster/non-human.
Prefer limited or no romance, if it has even a lot of it as long as other parts of the story are the main focus its okay.
Don’t care much about mature language, blood/gore, sad ending, any of that.
I just crave good stories with the stuff I really really enjoy and I’m running out of it in other mediums.
