Trying to get back into reading, just finished ‘The Silent Patient’ by Alex Michaelides the other day and absolutely loved it. I am looking for suggestions.
I’m a big fan of everything Patrick Dewitt, I’ve read all his works, and am also a big fan of ‘Fifteen Dogs’ by Andre Alexis, and ‘Villa Incognito’ by Tom Robbins. I’ve tried reading some other novels by Andre Alexis as well as Tom Robbins but never could get as absorbed in them as much as Fifteen Dogs and Villa Incognito.
I prefer dark comedy and psychological thrillers, and I especially enjoy when the protagonist has questionable motives or is not necessarily the hero of the story.
