I’m a big fan of cosmic/eldritch horror, I have the entire lovecraft collection. But I can’t find any good cosmic horror books out there besides his work. I know there’s good options out there but I can’t find them. Any suggestions?
For some cosmic comedy horror, the John Dies at the End series is fun.

* The Southern Reach/Area X trilogy by Jeff VanderMeer. Each book is *really* different from the others.
* Blindsight by Peter Watts. Available as a free ebook on the author’s website.
* Sister, Maiden, Monster by Lucy Snyder
* The King In Yellow by Robert W. Chambers. It’s old enough to be in the public domain. This is a collection of short stories, some cosmic horror, some slice of life about bohemian artists, and you can’t tell which is which until you read to the end of each one.
* Nightflyers and Other Stories by George R. R. Martin
I have a small mountain of cosmic horror short story collections I haven’t read yet, so I couldn’t say if they are good or not. But I can post them if you wish for more recommendations.
