Okay, so I’ve been dying to read a really angsty and heart wrenching romance that is a little non-traditional i.e. based in greek/roman mythology, where the love interest (male) is head over heels crazy for the main character (female), or the main character/love interest has to go through some serious/dangerous roadblocks to get to the other character.
The book doesn’t have to focus on only romance, and would actually be great if there was another main plot line other than romance.
I’ve already been recommended “The Song of Achilles”.
EDIT: I forgot to add that I try to stay away from the highschool/college romance tropes and modern romances like dating apps and writing that sounds like a YA novel you’d read in 8th grade. I hope this gives a little more context <3
